shifting gears

We all stayed up later than we should have the evening of Memorial Day but it felt good to linger around the fire. It was the perfect way to end May and to shift gears, with one ending high school and the other ending middle school. June, you came in soft around the edges with little bursts of light rain showers. That was a good way to start the month.
